70 series V8 Alternator Boost Diode
2012 VDJ76R . I was experiencing a voltage drop at my air compressor when inflating tyres which led to blown fuses as current increased with this voltage drop. This happened because the alternator was also charging a partially discharged Lithium battery that powered the fridge and other accessories . Installing an Alternator Boost Diode corrected the issue. The new higher voltage 14.49V (@idle up) results in lower current draw and no further blown fuses. I recommended it if you’re facing similar a issue.
