What does the Freezebrain actually do?

It replaces the factory AC Amplifier (Toyota's air con controller), which limits your evaporator temperature to around 6-7 degrees. With the Freezebrain fitted, you can adjust your AC dial all the way down to 1 degree — up to 5 degrees colder than stock.

Is it plug and play, or does it need rewiring?

100% plug and play. It retains all stock controls and functionality — no rewiring or cutting required.

Where is it located and how hard is it to install?

The AC Amp sits behind the passenger speaker. Unbolt it, unclip the end of the housing, slide out the factory Toyota controller, and slide the Freezebrain in. The hardest part is finding your 10mm socket.

Do I need a mechanic or auto-electrician to fit it?

No, it's designed as a DIY install with basic hand tools. Full installation and operation instructions are included in the box.
