Which 79 Series does this child-restraint kit fit?

It is made for the Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series Dual Cab from November 2012 onward. It is not the correct kit for a single cab, Troop Carrier or 76 Series Wagon.

How many child-seat top-tether points does it provide?

The bar provides three approved top-tether anchor points, one for each rear seating position.

Can I install the anchor kit myself?

The kit is available for self-fitment and a competent installer can install it with normal workshop tools, including a drill, the specified drill bit and sockets. Because it is a safety restraint, follow the instructions exactly and arrange any certification required in your state.

Is the kit ADR approved?

Yes. The kit was 3D-designed, structurally verified, destructively tested to ADR 34/03 requirements and independently engineer approved.

Will I need an engineering certificate after fitting it?

The kit includes the supporting engineering documentation, but post-fitment certification requirements depend on the vehicle’s registration state and how the modification is recorded.
