Which body styles does this bundle suit?

This bundle uses a four-piece weather-shield set and is intended for four-door 70 Series body styles in the 2017–10/2023 range, such as the 76 Wagon and 79 Dual Cab. For a two-door single cab or Troop Carrier, use the separate two-piece bundle.

What is included in the bundle?

It includes one vehicle-specific set of OCAM weather shields and one OCAM bonnet protector with its mounting clips and hardware (outer clips, inner brackets, screws).

How should I prepare the doors before fitting the weather shields?

Wash and dry the mounting area, then remove wax, silicone, polish and interior/exterior protectant from the painted frame with a suitable automotive surface cleaner. Test-position every shield before peeling the tape. Apply firm, even pressure along the full adhesive strip. We also recommend using a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the tape before peeling & sticking.

How long should the adhesive cure before rain or a car wash?

Fit the shields to a dry vehicle in mild conditions and leave them undisturbed for at least 24 hours. In cold or damp weather, allow 48 hours before a pressure wash or long highway trip so the automotive tape can develop full bond strength.

Does the bonnet protector require drilling?

No. The protector uses the supplied vehicle-specific clips and hardware. Fit every pad and clip in the stated position and check that the acrylic does not touch the paint before tightening.
