The FM625DPK is designed for VDJ76, VDJ78 and VDJ79 V8 LandCruisers built from 2012 to 2022, using the standard engine-bay layout and mounting position for this kit.

Before ordering, check whether accessories such as a second battery, catch can, compressor or other engine-bay equipment occupy the mounting area shown in the listing picture. The FM615DPK and FM642DPK use different bracket and mounting arrangements, so the correct kit depends on both the vehicle’s build year and available engine-bay space.

Where does the pre-filter sit in the fuel system?

It is installed between the fuel tank and the factory fuel filter. The Fuel Manager removes the bulk of water and larger contamination first, while the original filter remains in place for final filtration.

Can I install the FM625DPK with a second battery or other engine-bay accessories?

Yes, provided the kit’s mounting area remains clear. The FM625DPK installs in the passenger-side area near the radiator.

Before installation, check that a second-battery tray, compressor, catch can or other accessory has not already been fitted in that position. Where the space is occupied, the accessory layout may need to be adjusted or a different Fuel Manager kit may be more suitable.

What should I do if I see water in the clear bowl?

Drain the bowl promptly into a suitable container, inspect the fuel for contamination and follow the priming procedure before restarting. Repeated water collection means the fuel source or vehicle tank needs investigation.

How often should the filter be checked and replaced?

Check the clear bowl during routine vehicle inspections and before any remote or long-distance travel. Replace the filter element at the vehicle service interval, or sooner if water, sediment or contaminated fuel is detected.

Vehicles used in dusty, remote or severe conditions may require more frequent checks. Carrying a spare replacement element is also recommended when travelling away from major service centres.
