What is electric on the TM402?

The main mirror glass is electrically adjustable from the supplied switch. The mirror extends and folds by hand; TM402 is not a power-fold model. The functions should match the functions of your specific vehicle.

Are the indicator lights included and functional?

Yes. TM402 has indicators built into the mirror housings. The kit includes the required switch components, and the indicator wiring must be connected to the vehicle’s indicator circuit.

Can TM402 be fitted to a vehicle that originally had manual mirrors?

Yes, the kit is supplied with an electric switch solution for the mirror adjustment. The installation guide will show the installer how to route and connect the mirror and indicator wiring.

How do they position for towing and parking?

The mirror heads can be used retracted or extended, vertically or horizontally, and folded inward manually when parked.

Should the electrical installation be done by an auto electrician?

A capable installer can follow the installation guide, but an auto electrician is the best choice when the vehicle has no existing mirror wiring or when indicator wires must be spliced into the guard circuit.
