How do I choose between PV615DPK and PV625DPK?

PV615DPK is the driver-side-mount 70 Series V8 application; this version suits vehicles with ABS. Use PV625DPK where the vehicle’s listed layout requires the passenger-side mount.

Where is this catch can mounted?

It mounts on the driver side in the specified position (check indicated place on listing picture). Check clearance to batteries, compressors and other brackets before fitting.

How often must the catch can be drained?

Drain the ProVent approximately every 3,000–5,000 km. Check it more often during the first service interval, heavy towing or high blow-by use so you learn how quickly your vehicle fills it.

When is the filter element replaced?

Replacement should be done at approximately 30,000–40,000 km, or earlier where vehicle use and inspection show it is required. Record the change with the vehicle service history.

What does the catch can collect?

It separates oil mist from crankcase blow-by before the gas returns to the intake. This reduces oil entering the intake system; it does not remove soot generated by the EGR system or repair an engine with excessive blow-by.
