How do I choose between PV615DPK and PV625DPK?

PV625DPK is the passenger-side-mount option for the listed 1VD-FTV 70 Series layout. It is also the version compatible with the Safari ARMAX snorkel arrangement.

Where is this catch can mounted?

It mounts on the passenger side using the vehicle-specific bracket. Check the location, shown in the listing pictures, against any pre-filter, auxiliary battery or compressor already fitted.

How often must the catch can be drained?

Drain the ProVent at approximately every 3,000–5,000 km. Check it more often during the first service interval, heavy towing or high blow-by use so you learn how quickly your vehicle fills it.

When is the filter element replaced?

Replace at approximately 30,000–40,000 km, or earlier where vehicle use and inspection show it is required. Record the change with the vehicle service history.

What does the catch can collect?

It separates oil mist from crankcase blow-by before the gas returns to the intake. This reduces oil entering the intake system; it does not remove soot generated by the EGR system or repair an engine with excessive blow-by.
