The Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series leaves the factory with a known engineering compromise — the rear axle sits noticeably narrower than the front. On a standard, unladen vehicle driving sealed roads this is manageable, but the moment you lift the vehicle, fit wider tyres, load it up for work or take it off-road, that narrow rear stance becomes a real problem.

The narrower rear track means your rear tyres don't sit under the vehicle the way the front ones do. Under load or on uneven terrain, this creates instability, accelerates tyre wear, and puts unnecessary stress on your rear diff and axles. It also limits your tyre size options — wide tyres can foul on the guards in ways they never would on a properly tracked vehicle.

This package replaces the factory rear housing with a purpose-built unit that brings the rear track in line with the front. The result is a vehicle that handles predictably, sits level, and puts its tyres where they're supposed to be — squarely under the body, not tucked in underneath it.

A Track Corrected kit is ideal for 76, 78 and 79 Series LandCruisers (2007 onwards) where the rear wheels do not follow the front wheel tracks, particularly in sand, mud or rutted terrain. It is also recommended for vehicles that regularly tow, carry heavy loads, or are looking for improved highway stability and handling.
