Will ScanGauge III fit my LandCruiser or other 4WD?

It suits most OBDII vehicles. ScanGauge lists SGIII for 1996+ OBDII cars, trucks and hybrids, and most Australian vehicles sold after 2010 are OBDII-compatible, but older or imported vehicles should still be checked before ordering.

Will it help me monitor engine and transmission temps while towing?

Usually yes, if your vehicle reports that data. SGIII supports built-in gauges and X-Gauges, and Toyota-specific ATF, DPF and related gauges are available for supported models.

What does ScanGauge III do better than ScanGauge II?

Scangauge III adds a colour touch display, up to nine gauges at once, automatic X-Gauge setup, visual and audible alarms, and Wi‑Fi updates. SGII is smaller and simpler, but it does not offer those SGIII extras.

Does it read and clear fault codes?

Yes. It reads set and pending trouble codes and can clear the check-engine light after the fault is addressed.
